Flow Wrap Packaging
Flow wrapping is also called fin-seal wrapping because it produces a "fin" on the bottom of the package. The most common flow-wrapped items are baseball cards, candy bars, and pre-packaged plastic eating utensils. The flow-wrapped package utilizes an Oriented Polypropylene (OPP) film, which can be clear or pre-printed.
Our high-speed flow-wrapping equipment can run at speeds up to 200 pieces per minute. We are currently using the Ilapak Carerra line of flow-wrap machines which have the capability to print on-line and register printed film. An extended infeed provides the ability to integrate automatic feeders into the line.
